The role involves transforming design and product vision into a working product and requires collaboration with back-end developers to enhance user experiences.

Responsibilities

Develop applications as designed and provide feedback to designers, suggesting solutions when needed
Ensure code follows latest coding practices and industry standards
Works closely with back-end developers to properly understand and use API systems
Writes both unit and integration tests, developing automation tools for daily tasks
Challenges ideas and opinions, avoiding errors or inefficient solutions
Determining the structure and design of web pages
Ensuring user experience determines design choices
Developing features to enhance the user experience
Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design
Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones
Building reusable code for future use
Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability
Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages
Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design

Required

Bachelors degree in Computer Science
Minimum four (4) years overall working experience as a Front-End Developer
Previous experience as a front-end developer
Expert experience with HTML, cross browser CSS, JavaScript and AJAX & response design
Mobile development experience
Experience in using JavaScript, frameworks MVC, such as Angular JS, or Backbone
Understanding of APIs, with practical knowledge
Ability to write effective unit test and integration
Understanding of Agile methodologies
Understanding of SEO principles
Understanding of key design principles
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
Understanding of server-side CSS
Good problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical and multitasking skills

Preferred

Experience as a developer in an Agile team
Experience with responsive and adaptive design
