Responsibilities
Manages the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities
Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs
Designs and develops organizational policies relevant to the facilities department
Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansion
May have responsibility for establishing and overseeing health and safety standards
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
Ensuring quality oversight and direction of operational activities such as building and equipment maintenance and cleanroom operations
Demonstrate the ability to analyze and resolve complex, ambiguous problems with a focus on timely solutions
Collaboration with GWS Engineering and Lab Operations teams is essential for planning equipment maintenance, upgrades, and replacements
Lead programs such as Mechanical Workgroup, Energy Efficiency, Sustainability and Green Teams, and Site Incident Prevention Planning (SIPP)
Manage quarterly and annual budgeting processes, including forecasting and accruals
Oversee soft services including janitorial, copy center, mailroom, landscaping, cleanroom supplies, and garments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent with 4-6 years of supervisory experience
Minimum of 10 years in Facilities Maintenance and Operations in a semiconductory environment
Proven ability to manage complex facilities infrastructure: Chilled Water, Cooling Towers, Process Cooling Water, Compressed Dry Air and Process Vacuum, Boilers and Process Heating Waters, Ultra-Pure Water, Electrical Systems
Preferred
Cleanroom operations experience preferred; R&D lab support experience is a plus
Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS), PLC-based controls, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage internal customers and stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Tririga, Bluebeam, and SAP
