Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and timely books of accounts (Zoho)
Perform, record and reconcile all accounts payable, receivable, and bank transactions
Manage expense claims and reimbursements
Monthly closing of accounts and reconciliations
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Provide variance analysis and commentary for management
Prepare and maintain budgets and forecasts
Support financial planning and decision-making with timely insights
Support in compliance with KSA ZATCA, US tax filings
Liaise with external tax advisors / auditors as required
Process payroll accurately
Maintain employee records for accounting and audit purposes
Support external audits (financial, compliance)
Maintain documentation and audit trails for all finance processes
Develop and continuously improve finance SOPs and internal controls
Support ad hoc reporting and special projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Accounting / Finance / Commerce
5+ years of hands-on accounting experience (ideally in startups, agencies, or remote setups)
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
Strong communication skills in English
Preferred
Arabic language bonus
Self-motivated and able to work independently without supervision
Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive attitude
