They are seeking a full-time, permanent (Senior) Accountant to prepare financial statements, manage accounts payable and receivable, and coordinate with auditors and tax advisors.

Responsibilities
Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (HGB) for our German legal entity (GmbH)
Reconciliation of general ledger and sub-ledgers
Creation and posting of accruals and provisions (e.g., personnel provisions, prepaid expenses)
Fixed asset accounting incl. valuation, additions/disposals, depreciation, asset register
Preparation of tax returns (VAT, corporate tax, trade tax) and reconciliation statements
Calculation of deferred taxes and clarification of tax-related topics
Planning and execution of fixed asset inventory incl. CAPEX controlling
Point of contact for auditors and tax advisors
Accounts payable and accounts receivable accounting (invoice processing, dunning, reconciliation of open items)
Coordination of payroll with external payroll provider
Support in payments and treasury (postings, account reconciliations, payment runs)
Regulatory reporting (e.g. Bundesbank)
Preparation of reports and statements related to balance sheet items and tax topics
Coordination with Portuguese tax advisor for accounting topics concerning our Portuguese subsidiary
Qualification
Required
Mindestens 2 Jahre Erfahrung in der Bilanzbuchhaltung und 3 Jahre relevante Berufserfahrung im Finanzbereich
Abgeschlossene Ausbildung in Wirtschaftswissenschaften oder vergleichbare kaufmännische Ausbildung mit Zusatzqualifikation (z. B. Bilanzbuchhalter:in IHK)
Fundierte Kenntnisse in HGB, Erfahrung in der Erstellung von Steuererklärungen
Sicherer Umgang mit Anlagenbuchhaltung und sehr guten Excel-Kenntnissen; Kenntnisse im Umgang mit Buchhaltungs- und ERP Systemen (zB DATEV)
Analytisches Denkvermögen, hohe Zahlenaffinität, strukturierte, sorgfältige und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise
Kommunikationsstärke, Teamfähigkeit, Belastbarkeit und Zuverlässigkeit
Deutsch und Englisch fließend in Wort und Schrift
Preferred
Erfahrung mit Konzernbuchhaltung / Konsolidierung sind ein Bonus
Praktische Erfahrung bei der Internalisierung der bisher beim externen Steuerberater geführte Buchhaltung
