Field Sales Representative - Oxford/Banbury/Newbury

They are seeking a driven Field Sales professional to meet with SME merchants, demonstrate payment solutions, and drive new business acquisition while ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for each merchant signed.

Responsibilities

Attend on-site meetings with merchants booked by the SDR team; demo Flatpay solutions and close contracts (75% of signings)

Generate own pipeline from referrals and cold canvas (25% of signings)

Present tailored solutions that address specific merchant needs to secure deals

Deliver and install terminals to newly signed merchants and ensure smooth onboarding

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system

Uphold ethical selling standards and champion customer satisfaction post-sale

Provide feedback and insights to SDR, marketing, and product teams to strengthen go-to-market execution

Required

Experience in sales with proven quota attainment (no specific payments industry experience required)

Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle

Flexibility to travel regionally where needed

Highly motivated with proven talent for identifying opportunities and closing sales

Excellent face-to-face communication, negotiation and objection handling

Self-starter, resilient and motivated by commission and results

Organised and disciplined with territory planning and pipeline forecasting

Comfortable working independently while collaborating with SDR and ops teams

Preferred

Experience selling to SME owners is desirable
