Team Lead FP&A and Controlling (m/f/x)

As Team Lead FP&A and Controlling, you will lead the FP&A and Controlling team, shaping financial strategy and operations while acting as a key partner to leadership to ensure financial steering and contribute to company growth.

Responsibilities
You lead, mentor, and develop our Controlling team ( 2-3 FTEs), fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement
You oversee all financial planning, budgeting, and rolling forecasting activities to ensure transparency and alignment with business goals
You partner with Commercial, Marketing, and Logistics teams to support data-driven decision-making and actively contribute to performance management across the business
You take ownership of working capital management including liquidity management, inventory management, AP/AR reporting and devise process to improve working capital needs
You co-manage the month-end close process with accounting and coordinate with them to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
You analyze and monitor key financial KPIs, providing strategic insights and recommendations to drive performance and growth
You own and improve financial reporting tools and dashboards, with a focus on automation, data quality, and scalability
You ensure the effective use and continuous development of our ERP system (Oracle Fusion) and related finance tools
You prepare business cases, scenario analyses, and board-level presentations to support strategic decisions and investor communications
You co-manage with SVP Finance treasury topics and external relationships such as banks, insurance provider and factoring providers
Qualification
Required
You have a university degree in business, economics, finance, or a comparable field
You bring 8+ years of experience in Finance or Controlling, ideally in a dynamic, high-growth or e-commerce or retail environment and at least 1 year of experience in leading a team
You possess strong knowledge in financial planning, controlling and cash management
You are highly proficient in Excel/Google Sheets; hands-on experience with ERP systems (ideally Oracle Fusion) is a strong plus
You think analytically, act pragmatically, and constantly seek to improve processes through automation and smart tooling
You are confident working cross-functionally and engaging with senior stakeholders
You speak and write English fluently; German is a plus
