Responsibilities

As part of our Quality Assurance team, you analyze functional and technical specifications of new features and define risk-based test strategies that ensure the quality of our BLOXX software platform (comprising REST APIs and web applications)

You create and execute detailed test plans and test cases, covering both functional and non-functional quality aspects (e.g., performance, stability)

You identify and document software defects, ensuring that all issues are appropriately documented and resolved in a timely manner

You provide input during feature refinement and estimation to ensure testability and quality assurance aspects are integrated early in the development process

You contribute to the continuous improvement of quality assurance processes

Required

You have successfully completed your studies in computer science, software engineering or a related field

You have in-depth experience in software testing and quality assurance and have a strong understanding of testing methods, tools and processes

Furthermore, you are familiar with testing tools such as FitNesse, Postman and/or Testcafe as well as Agile/Scrum development principles and common team collaboration tools such as JIRA, Stack Overflow, MS Teams

You communicate effectively with both functional and technical stakeholders in English (required) and German (an advantage), both verbally and in written form and work independently, but also equally enjoy working in a team

In addition, you have a sharp eye for the quality of user experience and design and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
