Responsibilities
Review and edit subtitles for accuracy, grammar, cultural relevance, and alignment with audio/visual content
Perform quality checks on dubbing materials, ensuring proper synchronization, timing, and lip-sync accuracy
Conduct detailed QC checks to confirm subtitles and dubbing meet technical and client specifications
Test synchronized content across platforms and devices for consistency
Identify and resolve issues related to formatting, timing, and synchronization prior to final delivery
Qualification
Required
University degree in Audiovisual Arts, Media, or a related field
5 – 10 years of experience in subtitle editing and quality control within the media localisation industry
Strong knowledge of subtitling tools and technologies
Solid understanding of synchronization techniques and QC processes
Excellent time management, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
High attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Fluency in English and Arabic; additional languages are an advantage
