Responsibilities
Overseeing the provision of safe and efficient Diagnostic Imaging Services including Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, MRI, Ultrasound, CT Scanning, Nuclear Medicine and Mammography
Coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Diagnostic Imaging Department
Maintaining and coordinating proper staffing within the Imaging Department (Technical staff and Clerical staff)
Monitoring expenditures to obtain maximum efficiency
Overseeing the development and maintenance of testing standards, regulatory compliance, staff qualifications, Quality Assurance activities, and monitoring overall departmental function in accordance with New York State and JCAHO standards
Managing direct patient caregivers and dealing directly with patients or family
Understanding expectations of physicians and working with site team to develop a referral base
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree required
Radiology Technologist license required
3 years of experience as a staff technologist required
Preferred
Bachelor's in Clinical, Medical Imaging preferred
3 years of experience in professional management experience, including materials management and budgeting preferred
3 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred
3 years of supervisory experience preferred
