Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of pump stations, ensuring efficient and effective operations
Design and analyze water/wastewater/stormwater hydraulic systems to meet project specifications and regulatory requirements
Oversee project lifecycle from inception to completion, including QA/QC, procurement, and design phases
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
Prepare detailed and competitive proposals to secure new projects and funding opportunities
Identify and pursue funding opportunities, including grants and partnerships, to support project initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering
Strong knowledge of hydraulics for water and wastewater systems
Strong understanding of water/wastewater/stormwater hydraulics systems and pump station design
Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in Rhode Island (or the ability to obtain within 6-months)
Preferred
Project management experience preferred
Master's degree a plus
Funding experience with RIDEM, USDA RD and DPH a plus
Desire and ability to develop and mentor early career professional staff
Previous experience using AutoCAD and GIS
