BCW Group is seeking a Senior Linux Systems Administrator & DevOps Engineer to join their BCW Technologies Infrastructure team. The role involves managing large-scale systems, coordinating with team members, and developing skills in various advanced technologies while ensuring optimal performance of Linux servers.

Responsibilities

Responsible for entire verticals of operations
Coordinating with other members of the team to communicate, develop, and maintain large scale systems
Setting up, configuring, and optimizing Linux OS-based servers
Demonstrating expert project management skills
Demonstrating expert containerization skills
Demonstrating expert cloud service platforms skills
Demonstrating expert Linux proficiency
Applying excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
Utilizing intermediate Python/Bash scripting
Demonstrating intermediate systems engineering skills

Required

5+ years experience as a Systems Administrator
Very high technical and English communication proficiency
Extremely high level of linux, unix, and platform experience
Setting up, configuring, and optimizing Linux OS-based servers
Proficiency in containerization
Proficiency in server software (NGINX preferred, Apache is okay too)
Proficiency in RDBMS
Basic Python scripting
LAN/ISP hosting experience
Expert Project Management skills (Jira)
Expert containerization skills (Docker)
Expert Cloud Service Platforms skills (AWS, GCP)
Excellent Problem Solving and Critical thinking skills
Intermediate Python/Bash scripting
Intermediate Systems Engineering skills
Kubernetes Experience
Docker Experience
Helmcharts Experience
Ansible Experience

Preferred

Expert Linux proficiency is preferred (Ubuntu Server)
AWS (Certification is preferred)
GCP (Certification is preferred)
