Qualification

Required

Ph.D. in Statistics or a related field, completed by the start date
Demonstrated record, or strong potential, for academic excellence in teaching, research, and service
Ability to teach core statistics, statistical machine learning, and data science courses
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred

Demonstrated ability to develop an externally funded research program in statistics or applied areas
Demonstrated ability to mentor undergraduate and graduate (MS and Ph.D.) students
Demonstrated ability to contribute service to the department, university, community, and professional organizations
