They are seeking a Software Engineering intern to contribute to their Active Safety Integration Pre-development team, where the intern will design algorithms and simulations for Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems.

Responsibilities
Design and implement algorithms for one or more of the autonomy stacks towards L2/L2+ ADAS applications in C++/Python
Design and implement experiments to profile algorithm time/performance characteristics
Design and implement software tools to support testing and evaluation of the implemented algorithms
Build simulation environment for testing and synthetic data generation
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electronics and Computer Engineering or an equivalent field
Experience working with data from one or more sensors (radar, camera, lidar, ultrasonics, etc.)
Experience with software development in C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink, C
Experience with robotics middleware (ROS, ROS2, etc.)
Experience with modern software tools and design patterns
Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)
Preferred
Relevant research / project experience in one or more of the following areas: multi-object detection & tracking; environmental modeling; machine learning; mapping & localization; motion planning; controls
