Responsibilities

Determine the acceptability of the day‐to‐day work by the contractor
Review and recommend accepting or rejecting daily reports submitted by the contractor
Performs inspection of the contractor’s quality control procedures
Oversee material testing and verify that procedures are in conformance with the approved Quality Control Plan and established procedures
Reviews material testing procedures and results for conformance to the contract and measures quantities of materials placed
Review contractor safety procedures and perform site walks to verify program is being administered by contractors
Review monthly pay applications for verification of work completed and recommendation to clients for payments
Perform field inspections and audits to verify compliance with contract documents, construction drawings, industry standards, and safety regulations
Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, RFI’s, and submittals to ensure adherence to quality requirements
Track and document non-conformance reports (NCRs) and oversee corrective actions to resolve quality issues
Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and project teams to enforce quality standards and resolve issues
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations, and industry best practices
Coordinate with third-party testing agencies/ vendors to schedule and verify field reports, inspections and photo documentation

Required

High School diploma
Previous experience working on vertical construction projects
Valid State's driver's license and the ability to pass a motor vehicle background check
Recommended Be required to perform sampling and/or in‐place testing of soil, aggregate base, concrete, and asphalt concrete pavement

Preferred

A technical school graduate or have a degree related to Engineering or Construction Management but not mandatory
Experience in tilt-up construction
