Responsibilities
Conduct capacity analysis to identify bottlenecks, optimize production planning, and ensure efficient resource allocation
Design and implement efficient facility layouts to minimize material handling, reduce inventory, and improve workflow
Conduct work measurements to establish standard labor times, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes
Implement lean manufacturing principles and tools to reduce waste, improve flow, and increase efficiency
Identify and mitigate ergonomic and safety risks in the workplace, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
Must currently possess an Active Secret Clearance
Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial engineering, or a related field
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and capacity planning
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred
Experience with manufacturing simulation software (ProModel, Process Simulator, etc.)
Experience with capital planning and execution
Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau, PowerBI)
