The Senior Internal Auditor is responsible for leading and executing complex operational audits, evaluating processes, internal controls, and compliance within the health system.

Leading and executing complex operational audits across the health system

Evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of processes, internal controls, and compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations

Operating independently under general direction

Supporting the development and execution of the annual internal audit plan and enterprise risk management program

Required

A minimum of 5 years of Internal Audit, Public Accounting, or related experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field

Knowledge of COSO, IIA Standards, the IPPF, and internal audit methodologies

Understanding of healthcare operations and risk areas

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and audit management tools

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of an audit team

Ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently

Strong analytical thinking, discernment, and problem-solving skills

Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
