Responsibilities

Review preliminary title commitments, policies, recorded documents, and surveys to identify defects, encumbrances, easements, liens, and ownership gaps

Coordinate and track title curative actions (e.g., releases, subordination agreements, gap indemnities, affidavits, quiet title actions, probate clarifications)

Collaborate with outside counsel, landowners, and title insurance providers to resolve issues efficiently and maintain insurability

Maintain detailed records of title status for each project site through internal land systems and workflows

Support drafting, execution, and recording of real estate documents tied to curative efforts

Assist developers and acquisition teams in interpreting title reports and providing practical recommendations for risk mitigation

Manage regional differences in title practices and curative requirements to ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions

Support due diligence for financing and M&A activities related to site control

Contribute to process improvements that enhance title clearance speed, accuracy, and documentation integrity

Support the administrative aspects of Company management including the development and improvement of processes, metrics, and reports for our internal use and reporting to investors and other stakeholders
