Senior Account Manager (Curation)
Permutive is a data collaboration platform that powers the advertising ecosystem, focused on respecting consumer privacy while enhancing outcomes for publishers and advertisers. The Curation Programmatic Senior Account Manager will drive the adoption and performance of Permutive’s curation solutions, overseeing the entire campaign journey and ensuring client satisfaction and growth.

Responsibilities
Own day-to-day account management for a portfolio of brand-direct and agency clients, ensuring exceptional service and performance
Partner with Sales to develop strategic account plans and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
Act as the primary technical and audience consultant during the sales cycle, leveraging internal and SSP forecasting tools to deliver actionable and data-driven campaign proposals
Ensure clients are effectively activating and scaling Permutive curated audiences to achieve their business objectives
Build trusted relationships with client and agency stakeholders through proactive communication, transparency, and white-glove support
Lead business reviews alongside the sales lead, focused on performance, delivery, optimization insights, and future growth opportunities
Oversee campaign setup and audience segment delivery across SSP curation platforms, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Support clients through the full campaign lifecycle — from planning and audience building to activation, QA, and post-campaign analysis
Troubleshoot audience or delivery issues, collaborating with Technical Services and Ad Operations to ensure swift resolution
Proactively monitor pacing and performance, providing optimization recommendations to clients and trading teams to maximize campaign outcomes
Identify trends and insights across campaigns to inform future strategy and drive incremental revenue growth
Partner with Sales on pre-sale planning, platform demonstrations, and aligning client objectives with Permutive’s audience solutions
Represent Permutive’s Curation and audience products with deep subject-matter expertise and a client-centric mindset
Serve as a trusted advisor to agency trading teams, clearly articulating the value of publisher first-party data in a privacy-first, cookieless ecosystem
Educate clients on the technical and strategic nuances of Permutive’s solutions, positioning the platform as essential infrastructure for future-proofed programmatic buying
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Revenue Operations, and Finance to enhance workflows, streamline activation, and strengthen customer outcomes
Act as a feedback conduit between clients and internal teams, championing customer needs and driving continuous product and process improvements
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience in programmatic account management, sales, or trading within AdTech, a DSP, SSP, or major media organization, with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales and retention goals
Deep expertise in the programmatic ecosystem, including hands-on knowledge of DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, ad servers, and private marketplace (PMP) and programmatic guaranteed (PG) deal structures
Strong analytical capabilities, with experience in media forecasting, campaign performance analysis, and optimization against key performance indicators (KPIs)
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for commercial, operational, and trading stakeholders
Highly organized and results-driven, able to manage multiple complex accounts, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
