Linux/Windows Systems Administrator II (TS/SCI w/ Polygraph)

They are seeking a Systems Administrator II responsible for the provisioning, configuration, operation, and maintenance of Windows and Linux server environments, ensuring system reliability and security compliance.

Responsibilities
The System Administrator is responsible for the provisioning, configuration, operation, and maintenance of Windows and Linux server environments
This role includes building servers from the ground up, performing system updates and patching, monitoring security tools, and ensuring system reliability
Execute server patching following internal Telos patching processes and organizational SOPs
Utilize Nessus for vulnerability scanning, including agent configuration, connectivity checks, and unlink/relink operations
The Administrator will also participate in server migrations and maintain compliance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Build and configure Windows Server 2019 and 2022 systems from scratch, including OS installation, baseline configuration, and service enablement
Perform light Linux administration (primarily Red Hat), including scripting and troubleshooting
Manage the full server lifecycle: provisioning, support, updates, and decommissioning
Access and administer servers using remote management technologies (e.g., Dell iDRAC) to perform installations, patching, firmware updates, and reboots (soft/hard)
Troubleshoot server issues related to OS, hardware, networking, and security compliance
Qualification
Required
Must have active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph before consideration
Ten (10) years' experience as an SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
CWIP: IAT Level II Certification, IA Baseline Certification in Linux, Unix, Windows, or Cisco OS operating system
One (1) year experience in Linux, Unix, Windows, or Cisco OS operating system (Linux preferred)
Five (5) years' experience administering Linux, Unix, or Windows Operating System
Three (3) years' experience installing software packages such as .iso and RedHat package Managers (rpm)
TS/SCI w/ POLYGRAPH REQUIRED BEFORE CONSIDERATION
Preferred
Three (3) years' experience configuring, troubleshooting, monitoring, and, administering a message service (such as Java Messaging Service, TIBCO, Active MQ, Artemis, Kafka)
