Intrepid Solutions and Services LLC is seeking a Communications / Network Engineer to support the US Army TENCAP client in Alexandria, VA. The role involves designing and developing communication systems, troubleshooting network issues, and ensuring network security and integrity while providing technical guidance throughout the system development life cycle.

Responsibilities

Designing and developing communication systems

Analyzing and troubleshooting communication network issues

Coordinating with stakeholders to meet communication needs

Implementing new technologies and upgrade existing systems

Ensuring network security and integrity

Creating technical documentation and user manuals

Performing network performance analysis and optimization

Conducting research to stay updated with industry trends

Providing technical support and maintenance

Evaluating and selecting appropriate hardware and software

Managing project timelines and deliverables

Training and mentoring junior engineers

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications, or related field +10 years of work experience OR 15 years of work experience

10+ years of with satellite, cellular or other digital communications systems

Strong understanding of communication protocols and network architectures

Proficiency with network analysis tools and software

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Strong project management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and in a team

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
