Strategic Account Manager
Ohio Magnetics is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to manage and grow key accounts while ensuring customer satisfaction. The role involves acting as the primary contact for assigned accounts, developing relationships, and executing sales strategies to drive business growth.
Responsibilities
Responsible for prospecting and managing sales pipeline
Responsible for executing annual sales objectives, budgets, and project plans
Develop relationships with customers
Maintain a detailed understanding of competitive activities and communicate recommendations in response to market conditions and trends
Design and recommend sales and marketing programs; set short- and long-term sales strategies for the territory
Responsible for forecasting and sales tracking, inclusive of daily sales activities within the territory
Empowered to make decisions within the territory in partnership with functional peers
Align commercial and operational initiatives to achieve business objectives
Attend trade shows and customer events
Submit regular activity/call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems concerning customer/vendor relationships
Qualification
Required
5 or more years in outside sales in an industrial or technical sales role
Excellent communication skills
Self-motivated
Self-starter
Sense of urgency
Personable
Well organized
Ability to demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated decision making and strategic account management
Advanced skill with all MS Office products
Must possess a valid Driver's License with a safe driving record
Must possess a Real ID for Airport Travel
Must be able to travel regularly up to 70% of the time
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field
Experience with Steel & Scrap recycling industries
