The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing reliability strategies for equipment and systems, investigating equipment failures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational procedures.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement reliability strategies for equipment and systems

Define critical assets and prioritize reliability efforts based on risk and impact

Investigate equipment failures and production issues

Make recommendations and implement them based on RCA findings

Review maintenance activities to reduce unplanned downtime

Update maintenance programs based on recent trends and investigations

Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and potential issues

Trend MTBF and MTTR metrics to identify bad actors

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve equipment design and operational procedures. Create documentation like CRs, FSIs, etc. to implement changes

Lead initiatives to reduce costs, improve uptime, and enhance safety

Work with Project Engineering and Division to introduce new pieces of equipment

Assess risks associated with equipment failure and develop mitigation plans

Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations

Work with Engineering techs to train maintenance and on reliability best practices

Promote a culture of reliability across the organization

Required

A bachelor's degree in engineering

5+ years of significant engineering and/or operational experience

Preferred

A Chemical or Industrial Engineering degree is preferred

A post-graduate education/degree is desired and may contribute towards the desired years of experience
