Responsibilities

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures

Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Registered Nurse licenseBasic Life Support (BLS)Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)Management experienceProfessional certificationCompassionCommunication skillsTeamwork

Required

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Current RN licensure in an appropriate state

Appropriate professional certification (either clinical or leadership) is required within 1 year of eligibility of professional certification exam

Additional education, training, certifications or experience may be required within the department by the nurse leader

Preferred

Minimum two years nursing experience preferred

Previous management experience preferred

BSN is required. RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program within 1 year of hire/transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program
