Responsibilities

Define and drive the technical, product, and organizational strategy for one or more charters within Light-weight Infrastructure (Core Compute, Connectivity & State, Observability & Governance)
Lead a diverse, globally distributed team to design and deliver 0→1 services that form the foundational layer of Autonomous OCI
Hire and develop top engineering talent (both managers and ICs) to build a high-performing team
Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and high professional standards
Communicate effectively across the organization — from engineers to architects to executives
Mentor teams through architecture and security reviews
Establish practices that drive continuous improvement in engineering execution, leadership, and technical excellence

Required

Minimum of 4 years at a senior management level, with experience of managing managers and staff engineers
7+ years of relevant distributed systems or cloud services experience
BS, MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar degree
Experience in Compute virtualization, or Cloud scale storage systems, or Cloud Networking
Strong business and communication skills
Exceptional leadership and people management skills
Solid understanding of core cloud infrastructure, such as compute, virtual networking and storage
Strong distributed systems architecture and design skills

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
