Responsibilities

Performs engineering functions in one or more of the following specialties: electronics, electrical, mechanical, civil, naval, and/or chemical

Design and develop engineering solutions to meet project requirements and specifications

Conduct detailed analyses, simulations, and tests to validate design concepts and ensure system performance

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate systems and optimize processes

Prepare and review technical documentation, including design specifications, reports, and presentations

Identify and troubleshoot engineering challenges, proposing effective solutions in a timely manner

Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance project outcomes

Required

5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field

Candidate must have experience in assessing structural, mechanical, and electrical systems for material condition on US Navy ships and barges

Candidate must have experience in report writing and quad chart development

Candidate must have experience performing shipchecks on US Navy ships and barges

Candidate must be willing to Travel as required (approximately 25% or more travel time)
