Responsibilities
Collaborate with relationship managers to evaluate new CRE opportunities and support the development of strong borrower relationships
Perform underwriting for commercial real estate loans, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and credit write-ups
Assist in preparing new credit proposals, annual reviews, and portfolio updates for both existing and prospective clients
Participate in client meetings, site visits, and joint calls to understand project details and clarify credit-related questions
Review loan documents, ensure adherence to lending standards, and assist with approval workflows through internal systems
Support loan closings by coordinating required documentation and ensuring compliance with internal credit policies
Maintain ongoing portfolio monitoring, including covenant tracking, periodic credit reviews, and early identification of potential risks
Follow all institutional policies regarding credit, compliance, and operational procedures
Help onboard new commercial clients and facilitate the account setup process as needed
Provide analytical support to senior team members and contribute to overall lending efficiency and productivity
Qualification
Required
Mandarin language proficiency
Experience in commercial real estate underwriting
Strong financial analysis skills
Risk assessment capabilities
Ability to prepare credit write-ups
Experience in preparing credit proposals and annual reviews
Client interaction skills
Ability to review loan documents and ensure compliance
Experience in portfolio monitoring and covenant tracking
Knowledge of institutional policies regarding credit and compliance
Ability to onboard new commercial clients
