IT Applications Engineer IV, Full-Stack
Kaiser Permanente is seeking an IT Applications Engineer IV, Full-Stack to maintain, support, and enhance kp.org web applications used by millions of members daily. This role involves both development and testing of high availability web applications, as well as collaboration with product teams to define product vision and develop end-to-end solutions.

Responsibilities
Completes work assignments and supports business-specific projects by applying expertise in subject area; supporting the development of work plans to meet business priorities and deadlines; ensuring team follows all procedures and policies; coordinating and assigning resources to accomplish priorities and deadlines; collaborating cross-functionally to make effective business decisions; solving complex problems; escalating high priority issues or risks, as appropriate; and recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field and four (4) years experience in software development or a related field. Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement
Minimum three (3) years experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions development life cycles (e.g., SDLC)
Minimum one (1) year in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports
Minimum two (2) years experience developing and/or implementing web-based applications
Minimum two (2) years experience in developing and utilizing cloud based technologies (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)
Minimum two (2) years experience working with web application frameworks (e.g., Angular, HTML5, CSS, GraphQL, etc.)
Preferred
Two (2) years experience developing micro services and APIs (e.g., Java, Node.js, NoSQL DBs, etc.)
Three (3) years experience in utilizing DevSecOps practices (e.g. Git, Jenkins, Mavin, SonarQube, etc.)
Two (2) years experience developing micro services and APIs (e.g., Java, Node.js, NoSQL DBs, etc.)
Three (3) years experience in automated testing practices (e.g. Selenium, SoapUI/ReadyAPI, DevTest, Bobcat, Mocha, etc.)
Two (2) years of work experience with CMS such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
Two (2) years experience developing HIPAA/PCI compliant applications
