Responsibilities
Partner with relationship managers to assess new CRE lending opportunities and support strong borrower engagement
Perform full-scope underwriting for commercial real estate loans, including financial modeling, deal structuring, and risk assessment
Prepare new loan proposals, annual reviews, and credit memoranda for approval workflows and committee discussions
Participate in client meetings, property tours, and joint calls to deepen understanding of transaction details and borrower needs
Review loan documentation and ensure alignment with internal lending standards, credit policies, and regulatory requirements
Assist with loan closings by coordinating documentation, systems entry, and compliance checks
Maintain ongoing portfolio monitoring, including covenant tracking, risk identification, and periodic credit reviews
Uphold internal credit, compliance, and operational policies to ensure disciplined underwriting practices
Support onboarding of new commercial clients and assist in account setup processes when required
Provide analytical and process support to senior lenders and contribute to overall lending efficiency
Qualification
Required
Experience in underwriting and credit analysis for commercial real estate loans
Strong financial modeling skills
Ability to perform risk assessment and deal structuring
Experience in preparing loan proposals, annual reviews, and credit memoranda
Strong communication skills for client meetings and borrower engagement
Knowledge of internal lending standards, credit policies, and regulatory requirements
Experience in loan documentation review and compliance checks
Ability to maintain ongoing portfolio monitoring and risk identification
Experience in supporting onboarding of new commercial clients
