Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. is a leading middle-market investment bank and full-service broker-dealer seeking a research associate to support the Lodging, Leisure, and Residential Real Estate franchise. The role involves supporting the lead analyst in developing and marketing equity research products, including reports, models, and industry analysis.

Responsibilities

Support the lead analyst on the team on all aspects of developing and marketing equity research products, including research reports, models, and industry analysis
Write and produce equity research reports, company initiations, and marketing presentations under tight time constraints
Build and maintain integrated I/S, B/S, and C/F models and organize and maintain industry data
Interact with internal sales and trading and external clients as time progresses
Organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Required

At least one year of equity research or related experience
Strong analytical skills

Strong financial modeling, accounting, valuation, and quantitative skills

Fair command of Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg and FactSet

Preferred

BA in Finance
CFA
FINRA registered (SIE, Series 7, 63, 86, 87)
Exposure to the financial markets and equity research
Strong sales and communication skills
