Responsibilities
Responsible for coordinating Per Scholas’ participation in conferences selected by RevGen leaders
Work closely with the internal and external stakeholders to determine event (virtual and in-person) requirements
Research and facilitate the receipt of quotes from vendors, including and not limited to: audiovisual technicians, caterers, florists, and potential venues
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to promote events (pre, day of, post) through a variety of channels
Identify and escalate event compliance needs, including and not limited to: fire marshall venue capacities, necessary permits and insurances, legal requirements, and safety documentation
Facilitate post-event meetings with internal stakeholders. Gather feedback from internal and external stakeholders to evaluate the success of the event
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent practical experience, required
Minimum of 5 years experience managing events from concept to completion to support an organization's mission
At least 3 years of project management experience managing multiple workstreams and prioritizing competing tasks in a fast-paced environment
At least 2 years of experience with event management for fundraising events
Knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Travel required approximately 25% of the time, and some evenings will be necessary to perform the event role
Preferred
Experience with Lu.ma, Salesforce, and Slack preferred
