Responsibilities

Adhere to all applicable Company, Customer and Industry safety standards and practices

Under the direction of senior engineer(s): review drawings, analyze components, direct technician work, execute and follow the procurement of facility components and hardware, and create documentation to meet test mission requirements of a high-energy hypersonic test system. Systems are custom-engineered mechanical/fluid systems operating near the limits of material and physical capabilities

Assist senior engineers in the development of Powerpoint and other presentations and regular status reports

Able to organize multiple tasks with various project leads/management to ensure schedule is maintained

Interface with project leads/management to support integrated master schedule task status updates

Assist in maintaining various project rosters and task registers as required

Required

Junior degreed engineer with 0-5 years experience in aerospace and/or mechanical engineering

Experience with hardware design, thermal and/or structural analysis

Process piping design experience

Project coordination experience in an industrial or test environment

Ability to adhere to all applicable Company, Customer and Industry safety standards and practices

Ability to review drawings, analyze components, direct technician work, execute and follow the procurement of facility components and hardware, and create documentation to meet test mission requirements

Knowledge of mechanical and aerospace design capability

Knowledge of MS Office software required

Excellent communication (verbal and written) and phone skills

Ability to hear normal conversation

One eye (minimum) correctable to 20/20

Must be a U.S. citizen
