They are seeking a Field Engineer, Piping to support the Uranium Processing Facility by providing field and construction support, performing inspections, and overseeing the installation of piping systems in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

Provide piping-related field and construction support to the Uranium Processing Facility
Perform field inspections
Complete piping-related punch lists
Oversee the installation, testing, and inspection of piping systems for a highly regulated and complex nuclear construction project
Adhere to safety and quality standards
Provide technical direction and expertise for the installation of piping systems
Plan piping work packages and assist with construction schedules
Interpret and review piping design drawings, specifications, and related documentation
Oversee inspection and testing activities, including pressure testing (hydrotesting) of piping systems
Develop test packages and witness test acceptance

Required

Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of relevant experience or a High School Diploma and 9+ years of relevant experience
Must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work
Must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed
Must be familiar with ASME B31.3 for process piping, as well as materials like stainless steel and other alloys
Must be able to read, understand, and interpret mechanical and piping installation drawings
Must have excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills with field supervision, engineering teams, and subcontractors
Must be physically able to work in various field conditions including climbing, scaffolding, and working at elevated heights

Preferred

Experience with DOE, DOD, and/or commercial nuclear construction projects
