Business Development Manager
The German American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the US market. This strategic role involves driving company growth, developing a dedicated US team, and managing the full business development cycle.

Responsibilities
Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to drive company growth
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
Manage the full business development cycle, from prospecting and proposal creation to contract negotiation and closing
Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional teams in Germany and the US
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and potential sectors
Manage customer care and ensure high levels of client satisfaction
Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships, alliances, and distribution channels
Monitor competitors and industry developments to refine positioning and strategy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, Communications or related field
Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in B2B environments
Strong ability to structure and close complex deals with multiple stakeholders
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in relevant industries
Strong knowledge of Med-Tech, Mining, Sensors, Aviation, Semiconductor, or related sectors is a plus
Excellent communication and relationship management skills
German language knowledge and intercultural experience a plus
Strategic thinking and ability to develop growth plans
Willingness to travel as required
