Responsibilities

Develops and continually improves regression and acceptance tests including automated tests

Tests, investigates, and manages defects and discrepancies for software with and without a UI

Provides test leadership as part of the software development teams

Continually evaluates and helps refine internal and external customer requirements

Develops test strategies to meet the release schedule for multiple programs

Assists in directing student employees in the test and independent validation and verification process

Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information

Develops new test methodologies for emerging technologies

Required

Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance

BS degree in a technical field with 10+ years of relevant experience, or a MS degree with 8+ years of relevant experience

Considered an expert in the field of software testing and configuration management processes

Demonstrated broad knowledge, understanding, and perspective in software test application and test items

Ability to relate well to people at all levels inside and outside of the organization

Working knowledge of Linux and Windows

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and with team members

Skill with one or more of the following: C++, C#, Selenium, CSS, Node.js, Confluence, Jira, Zephyr, BitBucket, VMware/VirtualBox, Jenkins, Visual Studio, SQL, Git
