Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate physical inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy
Develop and implement inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels, reduce waste, and align with data center operational needs
Drive the creation and enforcement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory handling, storage, and tracking, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Collaborate across supply chain, procurement, construction management, and engineering teams to ensure inventory strategy supports evolving project needs
Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party logistics providers (3PL), overseeing compliance with SLAs, process adherence, and real-time problem resolution
Coordinate closely with build teams and 3PL partners to ensure materials arrive on time, are accurately received, and flow continuously to meet aggressive project schedules
Mentor and guide junior inventory specialists, providing training, support, and regular feedback
Manage and utilize inventory systems to track stock levels, streamline processes, and ensure data accuracy
Generate actionable insights from inventory data using advanced reporting and analytics
Qualification
Required
6 to 10+ years of experience in inventory control or related field
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Experience leading and coordinating physical inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations
Proven ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies with root-cause analysis
Experience developing and implementing inventory control strategies
Knowledge of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory handling, storage, and tracking
Experience collaborating across supply chain, procurement, construction management, and engineering teams
Ability to manage third-party logistics providers (3PL) and ensure compliance with SLAs
Experience coordinating logistics and material flow with build teams and 3PL partners
Experience mentoring and guiding junior inventory specialists
Proficiency in managing and utilizing inventory systems for tracking stock levels
Experience generating insights from inventory data using reporting and analytics
