Responsibilities

Demonstrates working knowledge and experience in Design for Manufacturing as it relates to part design, fixture development, robotic paint lines, and application processes. Experience in a highly automated paint and/or highly cosmetic injection molded parts environment is preferred
Understanding of project management skills with the ability to analyze and drive metrics to make critical decisions. Shows the ability to create and maintain large scale project budgets
Impacts quality of their own work utilizing Just-In-Time (JIT) and Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement system, etc.)
Solves problems related to development into processes, procedures and parts by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience, judgment with a moderate level of guidance and direction
Provides informal guidance to new Advanced Manufacturing team members and impacts the work of others within the group
Effectively communicates complex information involving best practices with suppliers to others

Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a group and/or team and provide guidance to new team members
Experience in overseeing medium to large scale projects from concept to development
Demonstrates working knowledge and experience in Design for Manufacturing as it relates to part design, fixture development, robotic paint lines, and application processes
Understanding of project management skills with the ability to analyze and drive metrics to make critical decisions
Shows the ability to create and maintain large scale project budgets
