As a Construction Estimating Intern, you will work alongside estimating professionals to analyze costs, scope, materials, and opportunities, gaining hands-on experience in both the office and field.

Identifying clear scopes of work, risk factors, and project requirements

Supporting bid procurement and subcontractor communication

Performing quantity take-offs and preparing quality summaries

Maintaining and updating the subcontractor and supplier directory

Attending site visits, pre-bid walkthroughs, and bid deliveries

Observing how safety requirements influence project bids and execution

Learning how innovative, customer-centric thinking adds value in preconstruction

Required

Entry-level experience

Students currently pursuing degrees in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Development and Planning, Business, Accounting, or related fields

Individuals with exposure to the construction industry and job sites

At least 18 years of age as of May 2026

Reliable transportation to travel to multiple job sites in the WNY area
