Responsibilities
Cultivate and expand your professional network: Generate new leads, and drive business development activities to secure new clients and deals
Oversee the full transaction lifecycle: Managing every stage of the deal process from initial contact through the preparation and execution phases to a successful closing
Grow and lead your own deal team: Providing strategic and technical guidance and hands-on support to ensure successful deal execution
Build and maintain prospect and client relationships: Acting as the primary point of contact for prospects and clients, fostering and maintaining strong relationships with entrepreneurs and key stakeholders
Develop and implement strategic growth initiatives: Proactively driving strategic initiatives which contribute to Marktlink’s ambitious growth strategy in the Madrid and wider Spanish mid-market
Qualification
Required
At least 5 years of M&A Lead Advisory experience
Proven track record in deal-closing
Demonstrable business development success (past and live pipeline)
Active network of trusted relationships in Spain
Strong ability to leverage connections for business growth in target markets
Commercial mindset and genuine passion for working alongside entrepreneurs
Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all workstreams
High standards of precision and quality throughout the deal process
Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities
