Clinical Scheduling Analyst

Responsibilities

Analyze and determine clinical coverage needs of Parnassus, Mission Bay, and Mt. Zion Hospital Operating Rooms, the Orthopedic Institute, and all off-site Anesthesia sites
Analyze staffing availability data and develop the staffing of more than 298 Anesthesiologists
Coordinate with individuals charged with CRNA and clinical residents
Ensure appropriate coverage is provided to several specialty services in addition to the operating rooms
Identify, analyze and resolve staffing conflicts
Notify principals (faculty, managers and staff) regarding amendments and modifications
Ensure faculty are scheduled accordingly to their clinical requirements as established by their annual contracts

Required

Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
3-5 years of relevant experience
Excellent attendance record and strong reliability in punctuality
Experience with provider scheduling, preferably in Anesthesia or Surgical Specialties
Professional demeanor with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to independently problem-solve and make decisions
Effective use of healthcare and clinic operations technology, including billing systems and electronic medical records
Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal skills
Prior working knowledge of the EPIC (Apex) system

Preferred

Experience with QGenda platform for scheduling and reporting functions
