The Production Engineering Intern will support technical and production tasks related to aerospace component repairs while engaging with various departments to implement process improvements and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

On-Site Support for creation of Process, Methods, and Router Documentation, for Manufacturing and/or Repair product lines

Learn processes, technical principles, equipment operation, and operational work-scope

Engage with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Safety departments, to implement process improvements projects. Develop and establish effective procedures/documentation to enforce process improvements

Engage with Production Engineers and facilitate induction of transferred or new tooling, fixturing, gaging, and equipment. Maintain qualification per project plan and coordinate activities to ensure on-time development

Complete database updates for turnaround (TAT) and Operational Steps by executing time studies on existing and new processes

Required

Currently enrolled as a college degree seeking student in AS (Associate of Science), AES (Associate of Engineering Science), or BS (Bachelor of Science) program

Prior work experience

Ability to work on-site
