Responsibilities

Preparing monthly and quarterly reporting packages. These include P&L statements and analysis of trends to explain variances from plan. This can include but is not limited to sales, inventory, product costs, allocations, overhead rates, capital spending etc
Capital planning, execution, reporting and analytics for the site. Interaction with manufacturing and facilities is necessary to ensure that components of the capital plan are aligned with achieving the site’s strategic goals. Communication with group services is also important to report the capital plan and provide updates on progress
Use 80/20 principles to develop monthly segmented P&Ls and support the various initiatives to grow the individual product lines as the Finance Business Partner to the various segments
Preparation of monthly internal financial reporting packages
Financial and Costing Variance Analysis
Assist with Budget and Forecast Prep & Analysis
Partner with leaders of ICD’s product lines to develop long-range plans and provide analytical support
Interact with Demand team to prepare monthly sales forecasts as part of Integrated Business Planning
Provides estimates of product costs to pricing group for customer proposals
Assist with internal and external audit requests
Interact with all functional areas of the business
Develop and execute various ad-hoc projects and reports as needed

Required

Bachelor Level Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
Minimum five (5) years of experience in manufacturing environment in the areas of cost accounting, variance analysis, or financial reporting
Outstanding communication skills
Strong knowledge in Financial and US GAAP principles
Advanced Excel skills

Preferred

Background in the principles of Government Contract Accounting
Experience with project cost accounting and financial reporting applications
Experience building strategic working relationships
Experience in a Lean manufacturing environment
Experience with SAP / OneStream
Knowledge of 80/20 & IBP
