Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with commercial clients to understand their insurance needs, risk exposures, and business goals
Provide expert guidance on coverage options, policy recommendations, and risk mitigation strategies
Work with brokers and underwriters to negotiate terms and place coverage for new and existing clients. Manage the renewal process for policies, ensuring timely preparation of renewals and accurate policy documentation
Address clients’ inquiries and issues related to policy coverage, billing, claims, and endorsements
Provide guidance and support for claims management, ensuring clients’ concerns are resolved promptly and efficiently
Proactively monitor client accounts and implement strategies to retain existing business
Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell additional insurance products and services
Advise clients on best practices for risk management, providing them with the knowledge and resources to reduce risks and avoid claims
Support the sales process by assisting in the preparation of proposals and presentations to prospective clients
Collaborate with the sales team to grow the client base and identify new business opportunities
Maintain accurate client files, policy documentation, and records in the agency management system
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company guidelines
Qualification
Required
Valid insurance license (Property & Casualty)
3+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance, with a focus on account management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
