Responsibilities

Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Server and Linux (RedHat, SUSE, or similar) environments
Managing Active Directory domains, group policies, and user access controls
Administering security certificates, PKI infrastructure, and encryption technologies to safeguard sensitive data
Implementing and maintaining cybersecurity controls aligned with DoD and federal agency standards
Monitoring and optimizing system performance, availability, and security posture
Supporting integrations with enterprise applications, including OpenText ECM (highly desired)
Collaborating with architects, developers, and security teams to ensure systems meet operational and compliance needs
Provision and manage Windows and Linux servers to support enterprise workloads
Implement automated patching, backup, and disaster recovery processes
Support identity and access management through Active Directory and related technologies
Provide technical support to system owners and users, addressing system-related issues

Required

5+ years administering Windows and Linux systems in enterprise or federal environments
Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration, including domain management, group policies, and authentication
Experience with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, FedRAMP, DISA STIGs) and compliance requirements
Demonstrated expertise in security certificate management and PKI infrastructure
Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud environments (AWS GovCloud preferred)
Proficiency with monitoring and automation tools (PowerShell, Ansible, CloudWatch, or similar)
Strong understanding of encryption-at-rest/in-transit and IAM integration
BS degree in Information Technology or related technical discipline
Security+ Certification (required or highly desired)
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to complete the government's background investigation

Preferred

Experience supporting OpenText ECM platforms
Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator or RedHat Certified Engineer (desired)
AWS Certified SysOps Administrator (desired)
Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Startup, XP)
Strong communication and collaboration skills with a track record of solution ownership
Ability to articulate and document design/configuration choices and build consensus among stakeholders
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and compliance requirements
