Responsibilities
Attend pre-weld meetings and review drawings/specs
Observe fit-up, welding, and post-weld inspections
Verify WPS, PQR, and WPQ documentation
Produce clear inspection reports; identify non-conformances
Collaborate with welders, fabrication teams, and QC/Production Managers
Qualification
Required
Active AWS CWI certification (non-negotiable)
Experience in steel fabrication or related industry
Ability to interpret engineering drawings
Strong understanding of shop welding practices
