Responsibilities
Create and send customer invoices and maintain accurate billing records
Record and apply customer payments (checks, ACH, credit card, online platforms)
Monitor outstanding balances and assist with basic collections and customer follow-up
Reconcile AR accounts and research discrepancies as needed
Provide customer support by answering billing questions and sending statements or invoice copies
Enter and process vendor invoices while maintaining accurate vendor records
Review invoices for proper coding, pricing, and approvals
Reconcile AP accounts and vendor statements, resolving discrepancies as needed
Communicate with vendors regarding billing questions or missing documentation
Update and reconcile company checkbook
Assist with monthly close and cost accounting processes
Support financial reporting and analysis for management
Support leadership with ad-hoc reporting, compliance tasks, and process improvements
Maintain accurate financial and administrative records
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required
3-5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping (experience in a manufacturing industry is a plus)
Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks Desktop experience is a plus)
Strong Excel and data analysis skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, especially during seasonal workload peaks
Strong communication and teamwork skills
