Keel is committed to improving quality management systems and is seeking a Quality Project Manager to drive quality assurance processes. The role involves developing quality plans, leading customer scorecard improvements, and maintaining a positive reputation with customers.

Defense & Space

Responsibilities

Develop quality plans from customer requirements, external standards, and internal procedures to mitigate risk, be the contact for customer quality concerns

Lead customer scorecard improvements

Leader/member of corrective action teams

ISO / AS internal auditor

Maintaining a positive quality reputation with assigned customers

Implement containment activities, as required, to protect the customer of repeat non-conformances

Performs other related duties as assigned

ISO-9000 or AS-9100 related auditing, inspection & test, Metrology, and calibration, print reading & (GD&T)

Process Improvement, Analyzing Information, Strategic Planning, Ability to interact effectively with suppliers and customers

Familiar with Machining, Welding, Assembly and Testing

Good planning, organizational, and communications skills required

Energetic, Positive attitude, Proactive, Process Driven, Leadership & Motivational abilities

Works well with others

Organized with ability to multi-task and establish priorities

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Results driven with emphasis on keeping customer and business commitments

Associates degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of three (3) years' experience in Quality Assurance functions, with adequate experience using inspection and test equipment

ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, Technician, or Engineer
