They are seeking a talented and motivated Part-Time Accountant to support the Director of Finance with daily financial operations and assist with month-end financial statement preparation.

Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online, including transaction coding, reconciliations, and journal entries
Enter and manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) invoices
Prepare standard and custom financial reports, such as Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet statements
Maintain and update balance sheet schedules, including depreciation, leases, and prepaids
Analyze financial statements and explain discrepancies to the Director of Finance
Monitor the finance team’s group email and communicate with third parties as needed
Collaborate closely with the Director of Finance and other team members as a dependable and communicative team player
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting (minimum of 2 professional references required)
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
Ability to work independently with attention to detail, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills
Willingness to work in-person 1–2 days per week in the office
Availability to work 12–15 hours per week, with potential for more depending on workload and time of month
Preferred
Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting
Familiarity with Rippling payroll reporting and payroll allocation
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
