Responsibilities

Reviewing contracts and participating in their negotiation
Researching relevant legal issues
Coordinating and contributing to the review or creation of template agreements and enhancements to the contract management system
Completing hands-on project work that has an impact on the business
Engaging with Regeneron leadership
Collaborating with other interns
Establishing connections with Regeneron’s diverse employee resource groups
Participating in professional development sessions while enjoying lots of free food and swag
Showcasing the knowledge you gained through end of program presentation sessions
Getting paid for your hard work!
Achieving a general understanding of what happens in our global organization
Research projects and legal seminars will round out the experience
An end‐of-internship presentation is required

Qualification

Pursuing JD degreeMicrosoft Office SuiteResearch skillsWriting skillsCommunication skillsInterest in contractsScience backgroundInterpersonal skills

Required

Pursuing a JD degree, preference to students who will have completed their 1st year of law school
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Word and PowerPoint and using other data‐driven applications
Strong writing, research, communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with and interest in contracts and corporate legal issues
To be considered for this opportunity, you must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing a Law degree (and be returning to school the semester following the internship)
A cumulative GPA of 3.0 is preferred
Ability to commit to 40 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks from the end of May/ June through the beginning of August

Preferred

Demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports, current or previous work, or the community
Science background is a plus
