The role focuses on building custom applications, automating workflows, and optimizing data-driven processes while integrating with Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.

Responsibilities
Assess & Elevate Existing Solutions
Inventory current Power Automate flows; refactor into solution-aware, enterprise deployments
Standardize security: convert user-owned flows to service accounts/principals; apply DLP policies
Build Apps & Automations
Convert Excel-based API tools into Power Apps (Canvas/Model-Driven) backed by Dataverse or SQL
Implement offline capabilities for field use (notes, photos, travel and time tracking)
Power BI & Data
Create dataflows, models, and SQL views; build visualizations and configure refresh/lineage
Align dev/prod deployment with environment strategy, document release steps
Integrations & APIs
Implement connectors and custom API calls (C#, PowerShell, or Python) to integrate CRM system
Build automation to copy SharePoint Online libraries to local NAS with error handling and logging
SQL Server
Performance tuning, query optimization, and stored procedure development for BI/app scenarios
Documentation & Handover
Produce solution architecture, deployment guides, runbooks, and support transition to internal teams
Qualification
Required
3–5+ years delivering solutions across Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and SQL Server
Strong T‑SQL, dataflows/modeling, and enterprise deployment experience
Proven experience implementing service accounts/principals and DLP policies
Practical experience with API integration (preferably Deltek Vantagepoint)
Ability to work independently, hit milestones, and produce production-ready deliverables
Preferred
Azure DevOps CI/CD for Power Platform; ALM Toolkit
C# development for integrations and automation; PowerShell/Python scripting
SharePoint Online customization and metadata strategy
Experience with offline-first mobile app patterns
