Responsibilities
Analyze cost performance and provide financial insights to support data-driven decisions
Conduct cost estimations for new and existing products
Perform variance analysis between forecasted and actual costs and report findings
Monitor and analyze manufacturing, material, labor, and overhead costs
Recommend cost-saving opportunities to improve profitability
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and forecasting
Assist in annual budgeting and collaborate with department leaders to track budget performance
Support monthly closing processes by ensuring financial data accuracy and timely submission
Benchmark and analyze best practices, successful strategies, and innovative approaches from comparable industries
Provide financial analysis for strategic initiatives, ad-hoc projects, and requests from internal stakeholders and Korean headquarters
Maintain cost databases and update costing models regularly
Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and cost accounting standards
Coordinate with production, procurement, and inventory teams to maintain accurate cost records
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, advanced formulas)
Experience with SAP systems and financial reporting tools
Solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Ability to work independently, meet multiple deadlines, and present complex financial data clearly
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate financial insights into actionable recommendations
Cost accounting and variance analysis
Financial modeling and forecasting
SAP, Excel, and financial database management
Bilingual (English & Korean) skill in reading, writing and speaking
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
